Sloshing around in the Brain

So, you want to know about how my brain works. Hope you ain't squeamish. Seriously though, let's see if I can answer a few questions.
updated February 2009!
What can we expect in 2009? A lot. There's a brand spanking new project coming out in March of 2009 that I'm really excited about. I've been working on it for over two years and it's finally come to fruition. There will also be a new story in the Spooked Universe, a new story for the Shoot 'Em Up Universe, and the Dukes will always continue. There's going to be a bit of darker storyline with the Dukes kids, and one young cousin will find herself in a sticky situation. We'll also be meeting Tim, the cousin who was sent off to military school. So there's lots going on and I'm really excited to be bringing out some new stuff this year!
Hey! You closed the Never Too Late Universe! What gives? Well, Regan's story was finished. And I have no desire to write Jim/Trixie, Brian/Honey, Dan/Hallie. Mart/Di are easy enough to pair off because they're very much background for me. Someday, but not likely, I might reopen it.
Are you a traditionalist? "Not really" has become "hell no!". Jim would have too many psychological issues to be able to have a girl like Trixie. I currently have 5 Universes, only one of which is traditional and it's closed. The older story will still be there, but there will be nothing new. I'm not necessarily a Dan/Trixie shipper either. I don't have a problem seeing Trixie with other men, such as Bo Duke, or even Ben Riker. I doubt I'd create a new man for her though.
Why do you write? Because I love it. And I like to believe I'm good at it.
You like supernatural stuff. Will there be supernatural Trixie fic coming anytime soon? "Don't hold your breath". I must eat my words. To date, I have the Spooked Universe, which is a crossover with the tv show Supernatural.
What about fairy tales? you 'dore them! I do. But there are several fabulous and super talented authors who have that corner of the market and I don't feel inclined to go that route.
Who's your favorite Bob White? that's such a tough question. Probably Trixie. Male-wise? Probably Dan, though Jim was my first fictional crush ever, and I still love him.
What possessed you to write about the Dukes of Hazzard and the Bob Whites? Trixie is very stubborn about what she wants. I just pass along some of her tales.
Is there any storyline you absolutely won't touch? slash. I still don't write slash, but there IS a story coming up of a very confused young man trying to sort out who he is.
Your mysteries are kinda light. Yeah well, I'm a romance writer. I'm working on the mystery writer part.
Why don't you write more about Mart and Di? They STILL don't compel me to. While Mart amuses me greatly, he doesn't seem to be keen on me putting him front and center. As for poor Di, she's desparately trying to convince me she not the bimbo I think she is. Me and her just don't get along for some reason. Some of my peers however, do a fabulous job with her.
Will you do more crossover Unis? "Doubtful". Yet another word eating. Please visit the Spooked Universe for some ooky-spooky fun!
Do you really say 'ain't' when you're talking to people? No. Only in jest or to annoy my mother.
Got a question? Want to heckle me? I am available by owl post, carrier pigeon, pony express and astral projection. Or you can email me. E-mail Me!
